Andrea Itzkowitz, M.D.

Dr Itzkowitz PhotoDr. Andrea Itzkowitz completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and her residency in Internal Medicine at Downstate – Kings County Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

After 6 years in private practice in Florida, she advanced through the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center system in North Carolina, and became the Director and Acting Chief of the Belleville, IL V.A. Community Based Outpatient Clinic, specializing in acute care management for veterans.

Dr. Itzkowitz continued her geriatric training at the Pace Health Care inclusive program for the elderly through St. Louis University Hospital, and has since been supervising the treatment of – and personally caring for – chronically ill patients in the St. Louis area.

Prior to her medical training, Dr. Itzkowitz completed her BSN and worked as an ICU nurse for over 10 years!

Dr. Itzkowitz lives in St. Louis County, and enjoys spending time with four Great Pyrenees pups! She has two adult children – her daughter Alaura, who is married and lives nearby, and her son Jed.

Dr. Itzkowitz will bring her many years of experience to our patients at both the Kennerly and Festus offices.
